Jefferson County’s Human Services Behavioral Health division serves Jefferson County residents who are experiencing mental health and substance use concerns through four treatment teams. The Division is committed to delivering evidence-based practices and providing person-centered recovery-focused services.

The purpose of this position is to integrate, direct, oversee, and improve the primary departmental Behavioral Health programs and services including the Community Support Program (CSP), Comprehensive Community Services (CCS), Outpatient Clinic (MH/AODA), Emergency Mental Health (EMH), and Group Home (Lueder House).

As an experienced and knowledgeable behavioral health professional, you will be successful in this role by completing the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Directs and coordinates the Behavioral Health Division programs and services.  Integrates these with other Human Service program, and outside agencies and resources.
• Provides supervision, direction, hiring, training, evaluation for CSP, CCS, MH/AODA, and EMH supervisors, and subprogram staff as needed. 

• Provides clinical supervision and implementation of mental health and substance use evidence based practices for program supervisors and staff
• Provides Quality Assurance training, monitoring and compliance in all mental health/chemical dependency subprograms. Establishes and maintains compliance with Administrative Rules, State Statutes and Medical Assistance guidelines for CSP, CCS, MH/AODA and EMH.
• Tracks and analyzes data; identifies trends; implements solutions.  Remains abreast of local issues.  Remains current on national issues and program changes. Applies for necessary grants.  Completes and/or assures all required reports are correct and on time.   
• Demonstrates dependable attendance

Starting wage:  $41.27/hour, negotiable based on credentials and experience; Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualifications Needed:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field. Minimum of five years’ experience in Behavioral Health Management and two years management experience. 
• LPC or LCSW license.
• A valid Wisconsin motor vehicle operator’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with eight to ten years’ experience in Behavioral Health Management and two to four years’ management experience.
