Our Commitment
Jefferson County is committed to ensuring that our websites and digital resources are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Achieving full accessibility is an ongoing process, and we are working continuously to enhance the accessibility of our websites, as well as implementing organization-wide changes to improve usability and inclusivity for all of our digital touchpoints.
Standards and Guidelines
Our target for conformance is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Levels A & AA. These guidelines set the standard to make web content accessible for all. Our technologies substantially conform, meaning that many, but not all, components conform to the accessibility standard.
Feedback and Assistance
Although we are monitoring and revising our website to ensure our digital content and services are accessible to everyone, there may be barriers that you encounter.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us at: webupdates@jeffersoncountywi.gov and include as much detail as possible regarding the issue.
Our goal is to respond to accessibility feedback within 3 business days.
