Job Description:

The Human Services Administrative Services team is currently hiring a CCS Accounting Specialist II to perform accounting tasks for the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program in order to ensure timely and accurate billing for all programs.  

As an organized and efficient individual, you will be successful in this role by completing the below key tasks and responsibilities, with a high attention detail:

  • Ensuring compliance with DHS 36, 94, and 92 and other applicable administrative codes and state federal laws by monitoring CCS notes and records to determine compliance of assessments, plans and notes, including timeliness and completeness. Ensuring correct CCS service arrays and SPCs are used in order to MA billable and compliant.
  • Tracking and following up on all time-record-keeping (Edals) correction requests for billing purposes, ensuring correction requests are communicated and completed.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and compiling various contracting documents and revisions to contracts, adhering to state and federal guidelines. Assists with the contracting process in general, ensuring all documents are sent and completed, as needed.
  • Verifying at the beginning of each month for receipt of documentation from all active CCS contracted providers; follows up with providers if documentation is absent and confirms if services were provided for that month.
  • Analyzing daily activity records to ensure proper billing and recording.

Starting wage: $20.60/hour; 40 Hours/week

Qualifications Needed:

  • Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with one-year experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
