Thrive Economic Development is a non-profit 501(c)3 public-private organization created to promote the economic competitiveness of the Greater Jefferson County area by providing professional economic development services for the purpose of retaining, expanding, and attracting capital investments and driver industry jobs to our communities. Formed in 2016, ThriveEd engages the private sector in economic development activities.
The Economic Development Department is currently hiring a Director of Community Development to lead efforts to support housing development within the County, support the Business Retention & Expansion program work for the JCEDC, as well as support activities to attract new private sector business investments supporting employment growth for the area.
The primary tasks and responsibilities are to:
Starting wage: $74,955 - $83,513 annually, with annual wage increases as provided in the Jefferson County Non-Represented Pay Plan.
