Social Worker – Emergency Mental Health Worker
The Behavioral Health Division of Jefferson County Human Services provides mental health and substance use services from birth to adulthood for all residents of the County. The primary focus of this Division is to provide evidence-based treatment that is recovery oriented, trauma informed, and person centered.
Jefferson County Human Services is seeking a full-time team member to provide a variety of services within our Emergency Mental Health team. The primary responsibilities of this individual will be conducting crisis assessments, responding to clients with mental health and substance use needs, developing response and crisis plans.
As a compassionate, caring, and attentive team member, you will complete the below responsibilities:
Extensive training provided in:
Motivational Interviewing; Trauma Informed Care; Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Suicide Assessment.
Starting Wage: $29.06 - $37.37 per hour/40 hours per week;
Hours are Tuesday – Saturday 2:00pm-10:00pm
