Jefferson County Human Services Outpatient Mental Health and AODA Clinic, seeks a caring and compassionate Psychotherapist to provide mental health and substance use intervention services for Jefferson County youth and families involved with the child welfare system.
To be successful in this position, you will be focusing on the below responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive assessments, provide individual and group psychotherapy utilizing evidenced based treatment with children and adults involved with child welfare to include both mental health and substance use treatment.
Perform crisis risk assessments/suicide risk assessments and evaluate client’s safety.
Interview and develop crisis and safety plans.
Provide ongoing assessments, respond to crisis situations appropriately, and implement crisis plan using effective strategies and practices.
Provide case management.
Participate in Child Welfare team meetings and communicate with Child Welfare team members regularly.
Provide consultation to Child Welfare stakeholders
