ABOUT PARKS AT JEFFERSON COUNTY
Jefferson County is home to 22 county owned parks and several trails, spread-out through the County’s 373,000 acres, for the public to enjoy as our Parks Department strives to preserve natural resources for public use and conservation. The Parks department operates and maintains a parks system with resource-oriented recreation, trails, and special use parks. They also expand the parks system for environmental and land use benefits, as well as, for the health and enjoyment of Jefferson County residents and others.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This is a seasonal job running from March – November, working a total of 1,000 hours.
You will find yourself with no two days that are the same at the Parks. Providing top notch customer service is the priority of this position, along with a genuine passion for dogs. You will be doing an array of responsibilities from planning and hosting events to monitoring social media, fee collection to maintenance and repair for the Parks.

Wage
This position pays $19.11 - $20.17 per hour dependent on experience.
Potential to earn up to $24.55 based on successful annual reviews.
